Hi, I’m Bailey!

In 2016, I received my BA in Communications, with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing, from the University of Tennessee at Martin. After college graduation, I spent seven years working in the graphic design industry. During that time, I had the opportunity to work with a variety of businesses and individuals on everything from branding and marketing to print and digital design.

After working in the design industry for over seven years, I decided to take my career in a different direction. In 2023, I began sharing my experience and passion for design with high school students as a Career and Technical Education teacher. Along the way, I've also welcomed two daughters, making these past few years a pretty big chapter for me both personally and professionally.

As a former CTE student myself, I know the impact those teachers can have. I had teachers who poured into me, encouraged me, and helped me see where my skills could take me. Being able to do the same for my own students is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do. In my first few years as a CTE teacher, I'm proud to say that I've had six students continue their education in graphic design beyond high school.

Having experience in both industry and education allows me to bring real-world knowledge into the classroom. I currently teach Digital Arts & Design and Marketing, helping students develop skills they can use after high school. I love watching students build confidence and realize that something they created in my class could eventually become a career — just like it did for me when I was their age.
